There’s a Light
Monday, March 24th, 2008I finished the bulk of the writing tonight. I broke its back. I’m going to make it.

If I could, I would stay up all night and finish, but I have a dog to walk at 6:30 tomorrow morning, so it’s to bed with me.

Don’t Answer Me
Thursday, March 20th, 2008Dogs. Paper. Driving. Poop bags. Typing. Notes. Leashes. beaglesbeaglesbeaglesBEAGLES.
Things are a little crazy for me. Not low-prices crazy, more like watching Snake Eyes twelve times and then digging through Gary Sinese’s garbage until he takes out a restraining order against you crazy.

Moviepalooza
Thursday, March 6th, 2008So I’ve started writing my mammoth, colossal paper. It is totally intimidating, but completely fun, all at the same time. I referred to it here; it’s all about classroom films of the postwar era, specifically of the social hygiene sort. I just lurve these films. They are filled with antique furnishings, antique attitudes, and the occasional nugget of something close to wisdom. Very occasional.

Leapers Leaping
Sunday, March 2nd, 2008So, we had Leap Day this year. How enjoyable. It’s like the day that isn’t; a day that doesn’t really exist, except it does, because here you are going to work or eating dinner or whatever you would normally do on any other day. But next year you won’t be able to do it on this exact day because it won’t exist. Trippy.
