June 11th, 2003Broadway has helped soothe my savage beasty-ness, so to speak.
On the heels of my tirade, these two won Tonys the other night.
As Marissa Jaret Winokur (left, and winner of Best Actress in a Musical for Hairspray) said, “If a 4-foot-11, chubby New York girl can be a leading lady in a Broadway show and win a Tony, then anything can happen.”
